Instructions / Notes for Authors

Authors of visual presentations are requested to bring the poster with them and to set them up on the allotted boards.

Visual presenters are requested to upload by 22 September the e-Poster for the online virtual platform together with a 3 minutes explanatory audio in the user area.

Authors of Oral, Plenary presentations should hand in their presentations for projection at the Presenters’ Desk on site at least two hours prior to the beginning of the session of their presentation.

Your original paper has to be submitted online between 16 - 26 September 2024 to your user area (https://userarea.eupvsec.org/).
Login, go to Your data - Submissions: For those submission of which you are Corresponding Author you will find the upload button for the manuscript and / or presentation next to the submission.

Only corresponding authors of each submission may upload final manuscripts. This means that the corresponding author is the only author from each paper that is able to complete the submission (as is the case for abstract submission). If the manuscript is not made available during this period, your paper cannot be published in the Conference Proceedings.
The document must be submitted in Adobe Acrobat PDF formats.

To upload the paper just follow the step-by-step procedures provided in the user area and complete the mandatory electronic Copyright Transfer Agreement as one of the steps of the online submission. The Copyright Transfer Agreement is compulsory and can only be carried out electronically. During the submission of your paper, you will be taken automatically to the electronic copyright form. Your paper submission will not be complete and therefore cannot be published without the electronic copyright submission.

In case your abstract was selected for participation in the peer review process for publication in a Scientific Journal, as well as your submission to the journal, you can also publish your Short Paper in the conference proceedings (N.B. it is essential that the contents of both papers differ by at least 50%).

Presenters and attendees have to register for the Conference and to pay the respective conference registration fee. Please note that acceptance of your abstract for presentation in the Conference Programme, does not automatically register you for the Conference.
Papers can only be published in the Conference proceedings if they were presented during the conference and at least one of the authors (presenter) is duly registered.
