It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Dr Peter Helm, one of the founders of WIP Renewable Energies, founding member of several European renewable energy associations, and a pioneering figure in the organisation of the EU PVSEC.

Dr Helm's tireless dedication and visionary leadership have left an indelible mark on the renewable energy community. During his tenure of over 30 years as Director of the EU PVSEC, he played a crucial role in advancing solar energy research and international cooperation.
His passion, commitment and expertise have been instrumental in shaping the development of the renewable energy sector. Dr Helm's legacy will live on through the countless contributions he has made to the field of Photovoltaics.
