Tuesday, 15 September 2026, 13:30–15:00

Session BO.13

Geographical Diversification of PV Manufacturing

This panel of experts from industry and research will explore the evolving landscape of global diversification in PV manufacturing. Bringing together perspectives from different regions, the discussion will highlight successful manufacturing examples and examine the strategies, policies, and innovations that have enabled their growth. The panel will also address the technological developments, scaling challenges, and supply chain complexities that Europe faces in building a competitive PV industry. By comparing these approaches, the panel aims to identify key success factors and lessons learned. An expected outcome is to assess how these insights can help to define the most effective pathways for a resilient, competitive, and sustainable PV manufacturing ecosystem not only in Europe but globally.
