"Invitation to the EU PVSEC 2024 in
Vienna
We are pleased to warmly invite you to the
European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference
and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) 2024, which will be
held in the historic but progressive and
future-oriented city of Vienna, Austria.
Located in the middle of the continent, Vienna
is proudly hosting a conference for all
European – and international –
players in photovoltaics. We would like to
extend a special invitation and encouragement
for broad participation to the PV community in
our neighbouring countries and the countries
of Southern and Eastern Europe. Take advantage
of the opportunity to network, exchange
knowledge, present your own research results
and innovative products and discuss the latest
development topics with international
experts.
In line with Austria's ambitious goal of
achieving climate neutrality by 2040, holding
the EU PVSEC highlights the central role of
photovoltaics in reaching this task. Austria
is aware of the importance of using solar
energy through photovoltaic technology as a
key measure to reduce CO2 emissions ..."

We are honoured to welcome Dr Eder as Conference
General Chair and are looking forward to a
memorable EU PVSEC in Vienna in September 2024!

Poster Awards
Recognising excellent visual presentations is an
important aspect of the conference. All visual
presentations will be subject to an independent
evaluation by distinguished members of the scientific
committee that will assess their scientific
contribution, structure and presentation . The aim is
to identify and acknowledge the posters that stand out
in their respective fields and provide the research
work they present with extra visibility and
dissemination.
It is important to emphasise that the posters play an
essential role in the conference programme. We eagerly
anticipate
outstanding visual presentations and
meaningful exchanges.
The most outstanding posters will be selected and
awarded in the closing session of the conference.
Further details can be found in the
Author's Workstation.

Student Awards
The recognition of student achievements is a
long-standing and proven tradition at the EU PVSEC.
The Student Awards are intended to
promote excellence among young researchers
and
acknowledge outstanding contributions in the field
of photovoltaics.
As one of the highlights of the event, the student
awards have a special place in the programme with the
finalists being awarded during the closing session.
This is a celebration of the central role young
researchers play in shaping the future of the energy
transition. It is important to us to give them the
attention they deserve.
The application process for the student awards is
aligned with the Call for Papers and is currently open
for submissions. Further details on the application
process can be found on the website.
