“PV has come of age with 1 TW
installed capacity. This is only the first step to fulfill the dream of
making PV a strong contributor for the energy transition into a more
sustainable planet. The sun shines all over the world and PV is going
everywhere, from remote regions to the cities, from land and buildings
to floating and vehicle integrated PV systems. The EU PVSEC is the place
to be for getting the most updated status of PV technology, systems and
their deployment. The recent dramatic events in Europe reminded
us about the importance of security of energy supply and this enhances
even more the future role of PV. I believe we all share the passion for
PV and I invite you to join us at the EU PVSEC to see and contribute for
preparing the next Terawatt of PV.
I feel highly honored to serve as General Chair for this event.”

 Poster AwardsThe
Poster Awards are an important part of the conference, where all visual
presentations are evaluated and judged based on structure, presentation
and scientific contribution to select those that excel in their topics.
We would like to emphasise that the posters are an equally important
part of the conference programme and we look forward to excellent visual
presentations and great exchange in the full hallways of CCL Lisbon
Congress Centre.
The best posters will be selected and acknowledged in the closing session of the conference.
 |
Student AwardsThe Student Awards are also a long-standing, integral part of the conference and are designed to encourage high-quality work among young researchers, and to recognise the most remarkable and outstanding student research work in the field of PV.
The Student Awards are one of the most popular and important parts of
the Closing Ceremony, as young researchers are shaping the future of the
energy transition and we want to give them the recognition they
deserve.
The application for the Student Awards
runs parallel to the call for papers and can already be submitted. You
