TÜRKIYE’S FIRST AGRI-PV APPLICATION WITH SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM

A solar energy research team led by ODTÜ-GÜNAM in Türkiye is testing an agrivoltaic system on a vegetable field in the rural area of Ayaş, located in the capital city of Ankara. The first pilot project has been designed as a single-axis tracking system (122 kWp), including a height of 3.5 meters and a coverage rate of 33%. The solar tracking system software is integrated with a control algorithm prioritizing agriculture.
