most remarkable and outstanding research work

To encourage high-quality work amongst young researchers, on the occasion of the EU PVSEC 2023, the EU PVSEC Student Awards will be delivered in recognition of the most remarkable and outstanding research work in the field of PV.

Applications for the EU PVSEC Student Awards will be reviewed and scored by the international Scientific Committee, made up of leading research and industry experts from the global PV community.

The prizes will be awarded during the Conference.

In order to apply for the EU PVSEC Student Awards applicants must:

  • be officially matriculated students, including PhD students, at the date of 3 February 2023
  • submit an abstract (in the format of one page + up to 3 explanatory pages) to the EU PVSEC via the User Area of this website by 3 February 2023
  • upload in addition to the abstract a letter of recommendation stating the name of the applicant and the institution where the research work is supervised, confirming that the applicant is an officially matriculated student at this institution. Recommendations should include a report of one A4 page that outlines how the research work will make an outstanding contribution to the discipline and what the specific contribution of the applicant is. The report can only be made by a student's supervisor(s) or head of department.

If you wish to participate in the Student Award review process, please tick the corresponding box while submitting your abstract via the User Area on this website. Note that only abstracts with the attached letter of recommendation and a valid Student ID will be considered for the award.
